How to Start the Quest
Automatically triggers when you enter Cerrigar at the start of Season 9.
Look for Bryona, located near The Pit, to begin.
Step-by-Step Walkthrough
1.Speak with Bryona
Bryona informs you that a group of survivors sought shelter at Firebreak Manor, but something went horribly wrong.
2.Head to Firebreak Manor
Travel manually south of Cerrigar — fast travel won’t be available yet.
Find Bryona waiting at the manor entrance.
3.Search for Survivors
Bryona sends you out to investigate the surrounding area:
Clear nearby locations of enemies.
Check for any signs of survivors.
After completing the area, you’re directed to Eldhaime Keep.
4.Explore Eldhaime Keep
Enter the keep and begin exploring.
Inside, you’ll discover a Strange Artifact — the Horadric Wayfinder.
Pick it up and return to Bryona.
5.Return to Bryona
After presenting your findings, Bryona instructs you to venture into a nearby dungeon: Demon Wake.
Demon Wake Dungeon
1.Enter Demon Wake
A short and relatively easy dungeon.
Clear out demonic enemies as you move through.
At the end, interact with a special device to open a portal to a Horadric Strongroom.
Horadric Strongroom Challenge
This is one of the central seasonal mechanics introduced in Season 9.
1.Survive and Complete the Rituals
Your objective: Obtain the Blood Relic.
Defeat waves of enemies and kite them into Pillar Rituals.
Each completed ritual grants +2 Horadric Attunement.
Try to stack and maintain these buffs during short 15-second windows.
Once the rituals are complete, you’ll unlock the path forward.
2.Face the Boss: Agony
A demon elite, not overly difficult.

Return to Cerrigar
1.Report Back to Bryona
Fast travel back to Cerrigar.
Bryona reveals the relic contains Astaroth Blood, and you’ll briefly hear Astaroth voice echo after the Strongroom encounter.
2.Inspect the Horadric Focus
Interact with the Horadric Focus, located near Bryona.
This completes the quest and transitions you into the next chapter: “The Truths That Lie Within.”
